Can I build my own configurator with AI tools like ChatGPT?
AI tools can generate impressive 3D demos and prototypes. For simple products with limited options, that may be enough. For complex products, a demo hits a wall the moment you need validated product rules, live pricing, ERP sync or manufacturing outputs.
What happens when a vibe-coded configurator hits complex product logic?
Our own product team tested this. Building a prototype worked well.
