Traditional e-commerce tools couldn't support KILO's mm-precise sizing or modular logic. Manual review was needed for every order. Customers couldn't configure on their own and every order required manual checks. This blocked online growth and created friction throughout the process.
After each purchase, KILO had to prepare all the production files manually–DXFs, BOMs, nesting, and labels. Each configuration took hours to translate for production. Errors were common, and output volume was limited by internal capacity.
With hundreds of possible combinations, KILO was getting lots of questions from leads about their different options: what was available and how each choice affected functionality, aesthetics, and price. The team had to spend time educating each potential client, creating significant overhead for Sales.
